Hi All, hope the beginning fo the school year has been smotth for each of you. Please email or post a response here to let me know how you are doing with entry 4...in just 3 weeks, you are expected to bring an "in-progress" draft to our cohort meeting on September 23rd! Let me know if I can help you in any way.
I am doing terribly but promise to make a better effort this weekend. Had a VERY overwhelming start of the year, but things are starting to even out now. Thank goodness for due dates to keep me on track!

Started writing last week. I'm having difficulty putting it into "student achievement" categories. I want to write a long narrative about what I did. I'll keep plugging away at it.
ReplyDeleteI have started on a few of the achievements. Now that the beginning of school has come and things are starting to settle down I will be able to spend more time on it!
ReplyDeleteI'm working on my outline still. I certainly am motivated by deadlines, though...
ReplyDeletePer the handout, I wondering if the significance of the accomplishment has to be separate from the impact. I am struggling to do them separately as I feel like the significance IS the impact... Can I tie them together and assume the person reading it will be able to see that they are both present?
ReplyDeleteI love seeing all of your updates and comments. To answer Kristy's question: we don't really want to assume the assessors will find information...the better job you do of delineating the significance (why) and impact (what) the easier it is for an assessor to find evidence of accomplished teaching.
